Department: Division of Life Science Job Posting Details Duties & Responsibilities The appointee will provide operational support for the research and teaching laboratories of the Division of Life Science. Major duties include working in the laboratory washing facility to clean, dry, and sterilize laboratory glassware and plasticware, and operating an industrial-grade autoclave for the sterilization of laboratory supplies and reagents. The appointee will also support the operation of communal laboratory facilities by collecting and autoclaving tissue culture biohazardous waste, maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of shared laboratory areas, and cleaning communal equipment such as CO2 incubators, water baths, centrifuges, laboratory benches, and refrigerators.…
