About this role

Position Purpose: The Sr. Software Engineer – AI Engineering builds and ships generative AI agent experiences for Home Depot customers. The role also covers the React front ends customers use to reach those agents. Most of the team's work is agentic production work on Google Cloud, and all of it is done AI-first: engineers use agentic coding tools like Claude Code to deliver software end to end and own the plan, testing and production outcome. You will help improve the AI-first development system the team already uses: you'll spot gaps, research better approaches and bring what you learn back to the team.…
