Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 821000 TG - Accounting Position Description: Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, financial analysis and cost areas. He/she also has primary responsibility for initiating and implementing new projects that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department. Qualifications: A degree from a recognized college or university with a major either in accounting or in business administration with a minor in accounting. CPA designation preferred; MBA designation preferred. Knowledge of computer systems is preferable as well as previous experience in the accounting or bookkeeping field.…
