Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 834500 TG - Infection Control Position Description: Provides dedicated wound treatment nursing care for patients, cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and the infection control team members in maintaining standards of care in the clinical setting utilizing the nursing process. Qualifications: 1. Current licensure by the Louisiana Practical Board of Nursing is required. 2. At least one year of LPN experience in Med/Surg or a comparable clinical setting preferred; wound-care experience preferred. 3. National Wound Care Certification required or must obtain within 3-5 years of hire
