About this role
At Houston Methodist, the Baker's Assistant position is responsible for high-quality bake shop preparation and sanitation, as well as assisting the Baker to ensure Houston Methodist standards are upheld. The tasks include, but are not limited to operating commercial bakery equipment, having basic baking skills such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, cooking, simple decorating and use of knives, as well as other preparation tasks such as panning, etc. This position must have a working knowledge of preparing breads, rolls, biscuits, cakes, creams, custards, fillings, muffins and pies from scratch or mixes.…
