About this role
At Houston Methodist, the Charge Description Master (CDM) Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the support of revenue cycle initiatives associated with patient charging. It is to maintain the Charge Description Master (CDM), conduct department training and education for all charges for services. Responsible for new and updated requests to Departments and rooms and beds for all Houston Methodist. Communicating appropriate rules and practices of local and Federal Agencies and how they affect the charging and CDM processes. Responsible for keeping up to date with the correlation between the CDM and APC charges and its affect to the Revenue Cycle and its policy and procedures.…
