The Automation Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Automation Engineer designs, programs, simulates, and tests automated processes, and is responsible for detailed design specifications and other documents. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
