Job Description Summary The 2nd Shift Operations Leader for the Schenectady Machine Shop is the front-line leader for hourly Machinists and Assemblers. Candidate will plan and administer daily work assignments in accordance with cell work goals ensuring high quality results. Set clear expectations for the shifts and follow-up up with operators on deliverables daily. Responsible for scheduling training and taking actions needed to ensure safe work environment. Help resolve technical problems by coordinating with cell manufacturing engineers and machine repair to keep operations running smoothly. Ensure seamless transition of work direction to ops leaders on successive shifts.…
