About this role
Maintains an 85 server virtualized (VMWare) environment utilizing Dell server and storage hardware. Monitors the environment using SolarWinds (and other tools) to ensure adequate capacity and identify issues before they lead to service outages, performs troubleshooting, software upgrades on servers. Change activity performed within a structured change / problem management environment. Some off hours work to support change activity to production servers. Interfaces with applications, network support, and Help Desk as needed. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Check system monitoring service to ensure server environment is fully functional.
