About this role

iRocket is pushing the frontier of reusable rocket propulsion. We’re looking for a Turbo Pump Engineer to design, analyze, and test turbomachinery for our reusable engines. The Role Design, model, build, and test high-performance turbopumps (inducers/impellers/diffusers) for cryogenic rocket engines. Perform hydrodynamic, aerodynamic, bearing, and rotor-dynamics analysis for rotating assemblies. Develop manufacturing plans and build books, manage tolerance stack-ups, and ensure as-built compliance. Monitor performance trends, analyze cavitation, vibration, thrust-balance, and clearance growth. Execute root-cause investigations, iterate designs to improve cost, lead-time, and reliability.
