About this role

Job Description: RNs in this position are responsible for the coordination of research projects including coordination with physicians, nurses, and other staff members caring for the patient enrolled in a research study. Responsibilities include certification in and strict adherence to research protocols. Activities directly related to research include recruitment and evaluation of eligibility, giving and obtaining informed consent, education of participants, obtaining specimens, direct patient interactions during studies and follow-up after the conclusion of the study and accurate reporting of all necessary data.
