Job Description: The Surgery Scheduler manages the complex logistics of booking surgeries, acting as a central coordinator between providers and provider office teams, patients, hospital departments and facility sub-specialties to ensure that ORs, equipment, and staff are ready. This role handles everything from initial requests to post-op details and resolves last-minute conflicts to maintain smooth surgical flow. The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patients at Intermountain Healthcare hospitals, ensuring that processes and procedures in EPIC are followed.
