Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. Scope: The Telemetry unit is a specialized area in the hospital that focuses on the care and treatment of patients with heart-related conditions. Our floor is a 36 bed unit that also serves as a step-down ICU and plays a crucial role in our hospital by providing higher levels of care for patients who have undergone significant cardiac procedures or who are experiencing cardiac issues.…
