Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. We have a 26 bed state of the art Mom Baby unit where we administer Couplet Care to our patients and their families. We care for 250 mom and their infants each year with an average length of stay at 32 hours. We also have a level III NICU to support us in caring for our Late Preterm Infants and infants at risk. We also have an in house Pediatric Hospitalist 24/7 to assist with our newborn population.…
