Job Description: The Trauma Injury Prevention and Outreach Coordinator supports the Trauma Program Manager in managing injury prevention and outreach activities. Depending on the facility's trauma level, this role may involve one or both functions. Responsibilities include educating about injury prevention, coordinating activities within the hospital and community, and collaborating with local coalitions and agencies as required by the ACS and/or the State for Trauma Center verification/designation. The Coordinator may also assist Trauma Program staff with performance improvement activities mandated by the ACS and/or the State.…
