Station Accountant

Position: Station Acountant Contract: 2-year renewable contract Location: Antananarivo, Madagascar The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the regular and rigorous day-to-day financial management, including bookkeeping, budget monitoring, financial reporting and compliance with IITA and World Bank procedures, as well as providing administrative support related to finance. The Station Accountant reports hierarchically to the Project Head of Mission. Duties: Prepare and review project financial reports. Review partners’ financial report and prepare financial justification. Attend to queries raised by Budget Officers regarding projects and fund status. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets.
