About this role
As the Communication Radio Technician , you will maintain and repair electronics such as military and commercial off the shelf transmit/receiver radios, digital voice recording systems (DVRS), enhanced terminal voice switches (ETVS), land mobile radios/base station (LMR), and communications switches. The individual shall demonstrate the ability to apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems (i.e., those that cannot be solved solely by properly interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents) in working on electronic equipment. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments, usually less complex than those used by the Level III Technician.…
