Position Title: Custodian I - Ames National Laboratory Job Group: Merit Required Minimum Qualifications: • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Job Description: Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The Custodian I will perform general custodial duties including collecting recycled paper, dusting, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, emptying waste containers, checking and replacing restroom supplies, checking and replacing lights, stripping and refinishing floors, and cleaning floors with auto scrubber and auto burnisher. The duties of this position require the ability to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50lbs. occasionally, and up to 25 lbs. frequently. Frequent bending, squatting, and stooping is also required.…
