PT English/Writing Tutor

This position concentrates on providing English/Writing tutoring services to students in the tutoring centers at the Marion (Grant County) Campus. This position will work with student population by providing face-to-face tutoring services. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to : Tutor students enrolled in Ivy Tech’s English courses in one-on-one or in small groups following the established protocol in the Writing Center. Complete a summary report for each student upon completion of a session. Work with faculty when necessary to ensure best possible outcomes for students. Sustain high quality customer service while facilitating back-to-back tutoring sessions Apply advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve student questions and inquiries.…
