GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Unit Manager is overall responsible for the direct management of the activities of the designated service. Monitoring and improving standards of care through supervision of nursing practice, clinical audit, teaching and research. Involves in total nursing management out of normal working hours in the hospital when required.
