Number of Positions In Requisition 1 Job Details Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager and Pathologist(s) the AP Prep Technician performs a variety of tasks and procedures to prepare a wide range of specimens for microscopic evaluation using established and approved protocols. Tasks include maintenance of equipment, maintaining department supplies, specimen receiving, reconciliation of paperwork vs. specimen, accessioning, tracking and distribution of specimens and slides, filing blocks and all other duties as assigned.
