Number of Positions In Requisition 1 Job Details The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining patients’ blood specimens through venipuncture, fingerstick or heelstick as appropriate for the performance of requested tests. The Phlebotomist uses appropriate equipment and complies with phlebotomy policies and procedures, including proper techniques, patient identification, biohazard precautions, and timing and fasting requirements.
