About this role

Overview Atlassian’s Gen AI Platform team builds the shared foundation for creating, deploying, and operating production AI agents. We provide reusable runtimes, APIs, tools, plugins, and operational capabilities so product teams can focus on customer experiences. We’re looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys building reliable backend systems and platforms that make other engineers more effective. Responsibilities Build and operate backend services, APIs, libraries, and developer tools for our agent platform. Own well-defined capabilities from design through testing, rollout, and production support. Develop stable, self-service interfaces for defining agents, connecting tools, and extending platform behaviour. Improve reliability, performance, observability, and developer experience.…
