About this role
Job Overview To develop and maintain suppliers for all production parts in accordance to quality, cost and delivery requirements and to ensure continuous improvement of QDC, while reducing purchased – part cost by continually identifying and implementing cost reduction measures with suppliers and controlling inventory to meet current target levels – all the while adhering to the mandated goal to produce machines which meet or exceed the requirements of the design specification. Key Job Responsibilities Builds and maintains strong supplier relationships to support delivery, quality, cost, responsiveness, and supply continuity. Monitors purchase orders, supplier commitments, lead times, capacity, and delivery risks; communicates issues early and coordinates recovery plans.…
