When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. Under general supervision of the sleep center medical director (MD) and chief technologist, performs Polysomnography (PSG) to assess multiple physiologic parameters during sleep, including but not limited to EEG, EOG, EMG, EKG, and ventilation. PSG may include initiation of therapy by physician order. Guidelines for minimal technical standards have been outlined by the American Association of Sleep Medicine. The senior sleep technician acts as lead technologist when designated by the chief technologist and on shifts and on sites where the chief technologist is not present.
