About this role
The McKinney-Vento (M-V) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act and coordinating services that support children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness throughout the Ingham County Consortium. This position serves as the primary liaison between students, families, school districts, community organizations, and state agencies to ensure educational stability, access to resources, and compliance with federal and state regulations. The Coordinator manages grant-funded programs, consortium activities, data reporting, community partnerships, and transportation-related services while advocating for students and families facing housing instability.
