About this role
Essential Functions Setup, start-up, troubleshoots, and monitors injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure production Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects Make machine adjustments, injection pressure, and cycle times for wide range of plastic materials to ensure proper quality and function of parts Ensure part/material containment measures are implemented Troubleshoot molding problems Notify maintenance of any issues with any equipment, mold repair department and supervisor of any mold issues Watch production monitoring software for machines stopping, cycles not to standards, color changes and mold changes Conduct Root Cause Analysis of factors affecting overall product quality Enter all scrap into the production monitoring system; weigh…
