Your job is more than a job. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Lead performs clinical laboratory testing of blood and body fluid constituents as requested by physicians. Evaluates and reports data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Serves as an authority on test procedures in the laboratory. Assists in training and maintenance of staff competencies. Your Everyday Ensures/provides quality specimens for laboratory testing: Uses proper container, technique correctly applies labels to containers when accessioning. Accessions specimens and evaluates the specimen appropriateness. Processes samples to preserve sample integrity, correct centrifuge times, proper preservatives, appropriate aliquots/sample sharing.…
