About the Role The IR Sedation Nurse is responsible for the assessment of patients including the development, evaluation, and modification of the plan of care for patients receiving moderate sedation for surgical procedures. The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the comfort and safety of patients for a designated time frame. What You’ll Be Doing Performs various activities necessary for the preparation of the patient and the procedure room for the radiology procedures in compliance with policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
