About this role

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a personal lines Underwriter , from our Sarasota, FL location. The Underwriter will be part of a team responsible for overseeing and auditing Managing General Agent (MGA) underwriting activities to ensure adherence to underwriting authority, company guidelines, and regulatory standards. The position requires conducting regular file reviews, portfolio audits, and performance analyses to identify trends, risk exposures, and compliance gaps. The Underwriter will collaborate with MGA partners to address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement efforts. This role works a hybrid schedule that requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.…
