About this role
About Us: The Pediatric General Medical Unit, known as Discovery, is an acute care unit dedicated to exceptional care for patients with various medical conditions. Our team specializes in diagnosing and treating issues such as sepsis, hyperbilirubinemia, seizures, rash or fever of unknown origin, generalized muscle weakness, cellulitis, abscess, ingestion, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome, short gut syndrome, and hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). In winter, we focus on respiratory patients, providing expert care for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and pneumonia. A key emphasis for Discovery staff is patient and family education, starting at admission and continuing until discharge.…
