The Opportunity Lesley University's Department of Expressive Therapies is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach: GEXTH 6105 - Power, Privilege, and Oppression; Fall Semester 2026. The two sections available are: Wednesdays, 9:35 am - 12:05 pm (In-Person) Wednesdays, 4:00 – 6:30 pm (Virtual) Course Description: The focus of this course is to develop a critical multicultural lens regarding the sociocultural foundations of the counseling process. Students will develop an awareness and knowledge of power, privilege, and oppression and the ways these may be expressed in personal and interpersonal behaviors at the micro and macro levels. An exploration of strategies to identify and eliminate cultural barriers, prejudice, and discriminatory practices will also be included.…
