About this role
The Director of Safety (DOS) oversees and directs the School of Aeronautics (SOA) safety program. The DOS organizes and leads the directorate to ensure safety in support of SOA technical training and a high quality / safe student training experience during the 100 hours / 6 days per week that SOA is open for operations. The DOS is responsible for ensuring that the SOA properly implements safety policy, risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion.
