About this role
Our client is seeking highly experienced Social Workers to join its Family Safeguarding Service in Swindon. The service operates a “Pod” model, with five Social Workers and one Manager per pod, designed to enhance management oversight, peer support, and high‑quality practice. What will your responsibilities be? Comprehensive Assessment: Undertake timely parenting and holistic assessments to inform the development of outcome-focused care plans. Court Work: Manage both private and public law court proceedings, including the initiation and completion of cases within strict court timescales. Permanency Planning: Achieve permanency for children, including drafting and executing plans for adoption where necessary.…
