Loyola Marymount University will be hiring a one-year full-time Writing Instructor to work in the First-Year Seminar (FFYS) program. Writing Instructors work with First Year Seminar faculty members to introduce students to the spirit of academic excellence and intellectual rigor that guides the community of scholars at Loyola Marymount University. The First Year Seminar is taught by a full-time faculty, who is responsible for the course design and content, and a Writing Instructor, who works with students in various capacities to help develop and refine their writing skills. The position involves offering writing instruction to 6 sections of FFYS in each semester (fall and spring). Writing Instructors are expected to work approximately 5 - 6 hours/week per section assigned.…
