About this role
Position Objective:
Performs laboratory specimen collection from patients for diagnostic purposes.
Essential Job Duties:

Determine and execute the best method for obtaining biological specimens from patients of all ages (venipuncture, capillary, heel-stick) to ensure quality specimens for testing. Follow established productivity guidelines with minimal errors.
Order appropriate tests in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) as requested by authorized providers. Resolve unusual or unclear test orders by contacting the ordering provider; respond to requests for lab results and send scheduled reports.…
