Murrieta Valley Unified runs schools across Murrieta and the surrounding area in Riverside County. Most of the campuses were built more than thirty years ago and it shows. The District had more than 125 roof leaks in the past year alone, and a lot of the heating and air conditioning is over twenty five years old and failing in the summer heat. Classrooms, science labs, and career technology space need bringing up to date. The work is roofs, plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, safety systems, and classroom and lab modernization, across a lot of campuses at once. The District finished a year long facilities master planning process this year, and a $359 million bond measure goes to the voters on November 3, 2026.…
