About this role

This position is in support of Shaw AFB, SC. Candidates must be local or willing to become local to Shaw AFB and be licensed at the independent level in any state as a Mental Health Counselor, Therapist, or Social Worker. Provides the full breadth of MFLC consultation and counseling services to the command structure and military service members and their families as an embedded counselor assigned to a dedicated military unit. Responsible for providing MFLC services including non-medical, short-term, walk-around counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, and consultation to the assigned brigade/regiments command regarding behavioral health issues with an understanding of the military unit, cultural and mission.…
