Job Summary: Processes, monitors, and reconciles payments on accounts receivable. Job Description: Receive payments and allowances from insurance payers and other sources and accurately enter payments, allowances, and account adjustments into the financial system. Review accounts for debit and credit balances and route them to the appropriate teams for resolution, including collectors and the refund processing unit. Review and process insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements to ensure payments and adjustments are accurate and properly applied. Identify and report recurring insurance payment discrepancies to the supervisor and collaborate with the Managed Care team to investigate and resolve issues.…
