About this role
Responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising farming operations in a manner which optimizes return on investment and good stewardship. Position Responsibilities: Assisting Area Manager in formulating operating and capital budgets for the property. Performing within the total budget framework adjusting for special unforeseen, uncontrollable conditions that cause variances from “normal” budgeted figures. Implementation and execution of effective, efficient, orderly, and timely farming operations, including decision making required for fertilizer, pesticide and irrigation applications, with minimal oversight from the Area Manager.
