About this role

Heavy Duty Mechanic - Winter Ice Road ( Remote Camps ) Location: Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut Schedule: 3-weeks on followed by 3-weeks off Travel: Paid flights | Hotel provided | Paid Travel Days | Per diem for travel days Matrix is seeking strong and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping our surface fleet operating safely, reliably, and ready for production every shift. We’re looking for an experienced surface mechanic with demonstrated competency maintaining equipment with loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, SnowCats, Haul trucks and light/heavy duty trucks, with strong working knowledge of CAT systems, including CAT ET and SIS.
