Automotive Lab Technician

Classification Regular Minimum Pay $22.70 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Provides assistance to students, faculty, accounting offices, and vendors in the Automotive Technology program. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: • Assists faculty with classroom and/or Shop Lab area with set up. • Assists the faculty in the training and learning process both in classroom and lab areas. • Purchases and resells auto parts; maintains running inventory of stocked items and their security. • Checks-out and monitors special tools and equipment to faculty and students and repairs or replaces tools and equipment as necessary. • Maintains school training vehicles and keeps records of repair work done and disposal of vehicles.…
