JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary work environment within assigned college facilities. Follows all safety guidelines and contributes to a team effort in order to create a physical environment that is conducive for learning. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: Clean and disinfect lavatory facilities. Perform routine floor-care duties, such as: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, and steam-cleaning carpeted areas. Clean drapes, windows, walls and other washable surfaces as needed. Remove refuse from classrooms, offices, or other college areas as necessary and place refuse in proper containers.…
