ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Performance of assigned fetal ultrasound examinations. • Provides thorough and accurate documentation in the digital reporting software. • Effective communication of verbal history and findings to interpreting Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician. • Select and operate appropriate ultrasound transducers and adjust technical factors to guarantee patient safety while still obtaining the highest quality ultrasound image possible (abiding by the ALARA, as low as reasonably achievable, principle). • Participation in department quality assurance meetings. • Consistently follow established safety rules and regulations. • Knowledge of current High-Risk Obstetrical ultrasound practice and guidelines.…
