Position Details: Position Summary: The Hospital Chaplain provides spiritual, emotional, and pastoral support to patients, families, and coworkers during times of illness, crisis, loss, and stress. As a member of the interdisciplinary care team, the Chaplain ministers to people of all faith traditions and belief systems while supporting Mercy's mission, values, and service standards. Key Responsibilities Assess and respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families, and coworkers. Provide support during crisis situations, serious illness, trauma, and end-of-life care. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other care team members.
