About this role

Work Shift Evening/Night Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Summary This position supports Mercy's philosophy of patient centered care by performing essential housekeeping functions throughout the hospital. Primary work will consist of disinfecting/sanitizing patient care areas and other areas of the hospital. Work is completed in a friendly, safe and sanitary way following infection control guidelines, universal precautions and directives from EVS Management Team. Job Description Job Duties/Essential Functions Job Duties Disinfects/sanitizes assigned work area using proper equipment. Removes waste, linen, recycling, some equipment, and sharps containers.
