The Associate Video Producer edits and occasionally shoots videos for PEOPLE’s social media and app, with an emphasis on “verticalizing” longform video features and creating social teasers/trailers for bombshell, exclusive interviews. Their mission is to ensure that PEOPLE’s social and app video content is visually arresting and narratively compelling. This person should have passion for shortform storytelling, an expertise in video producing and editing, and a desire to entice people to watch and engage with content. They must know how to hook and hold busy users’ attention. The ideal candidate knows how to make videos go viral on TikTok and Reels.…
