Job Title News Writer Job Description I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives. The News Writer is responsible for producing breaking news content and other features. The News Writer will be a team player who has excellent writing and communication skills as well as a deep love and knowledge of entertainment and pop culture. The News Writer will work closely with the rest of the team, taking assignments as needed, suggesting story ideas, and pitching unique ways in which to forward a story.
