Job Title Nights Editor, EW Job Description About The Position | Major goals and objectives and location requirements The Night Editor will lead EW’s after-hours news operation, overseeing writers and serving as the primary editorial decision-maker during their shift. They will curate the news list, assign and edit stories, handle breaking news, and ensure the team is focused on the biggest and most important entertainment stories of the day. This person will oversee a high volume of content, prioritizing assignments based on editorial importance and audience interest. They will assign writers to priority stories, pivot coverage as news develops, lead edits, and ensure the edit queue is cleared before the end of their shift.…
