Job Responsibilities & Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Ability to read blue prints. Lay out, position, align and secure parts prior to painting using prescribed fixtures and proper work procedures. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the painting trade. Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Monitor painting processes to assure desired finish is achieved. Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify the Foreman or management. Determine required equipment and painting methods via established work procedures and apply proper painting techniques.…
